A FEW QUESTIONS OR PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED BY MAP MAKERS WITH THE EDITORS

These problems were discuss on the forum by the players or by email with the authors. They came up with the solutions and explained "how they did it".

1. Spells casted by the AI :
There is a problem with the spells casted by the AI on a specific target, this had been tested by Lord H : "To get around this problem in designing a map, you can find out the exact location the trigger stack is at and cast the spell on that exact location, the only problem is that the location has to be 1x1 in size."

2. Pre-set party attacking a location :
There was a problem with pre-set parties, especially spawning pre-set parties, attacking a city, a capital or a location, Frosthammer came with this solution : "Use the "Defend location" order for pre-set parties. It actually works better than "Secure city" order for some reason a stack with that option will not attack a city with a superior stack inside the city. So I used "defend location" and just made the "location" the city you want to attack.

3. One time event or trigger :
A one time event gets triggered once, and will not get triggered again even if another race matches the trigger. But you can duplicate the trigger for each race and make it apply to them only if you want to. In other words, simply make the event once for every race and set them as the only one who can trigger theirs. If you simply want everyone to know the trigger fired when only one race triggers it, you can set the pop-up to send to all races.
