"This quest has artifacts, banners, boots, and potions. There are no orbs, talismans, tomes, scrolls, or staffs. Select heroes and hero upgrades with this in mind. There is also no mana in the level. I do not enjoy using magic and have designed my quest accordingly. You need not use any magic to win the game. This map has been repeatedly play tested. The scenario took about 30-40 hours, maybe more."

STORY :
The locals avoid Lake Ellen at the center of this area as it is infested with serpents and demons. Instead they take to the ancient Ring Road circling the lake. You will keep to this road as well until your warriors are suitably experienced. Eventually, however, you may need to conquer and claim the small islands within Lake Ellen to win the scenario.

OBJECTIVE :
Conquer just over 3/5 of the land.

REVIEW :
I just loved the design of the first version. I have not try version 2 yet but Michael corrected the small problems, so I recommend it. Make sure that you plant roads on every small islands if you want to make it to the 61% that is required to win.
