AFTER RAGNAROK - I

Objective : Seek Loremaster Ironhill in Fort Ironhill

My comments : I am using the loremaster (level 11) from the D2 Clan's saga with the mage lord type. No difficult in this once. The AI uses low level long range spells but I have the fire book that is making the quest easier. Take their mines to avoid this. Usual D2 gameplay. Last troops are a little strong but not to hard.


Clan 2

THE CALL OF WOTAN - II

Objective : Bring the three hermits to the ceremonial grounds.

My comments : Not real hard but you if you don't have GoL 2.1, you may have a hard time at the ceremony grounds. We made it in the original GoL giving our armies to the hermit that Lachla'an is attacking (last one to get to the ground will trigger the event and he has to be a little beside the others not in a straight line). You can beat it with the defending hermit or retreat and reattack with you main leader. Use potions, offensive and defensive spells and long range spells before you attack. Save before, if you selected the wrong hermit, you will be able to redo the sequence. If you are playing with GoL 2.1, you still have to kill him but he won't attack your hermits. If you get the patch when you are already at the ceremony grounds, you will have to restart this chapter or you can edit the quest to delete Lachla'an's attack (see LaPuce-Editor). See a spoiler.


Clan 3

THE UNEARTH GODDESS - III

Objective : Capture the Guardian of the Undead Horde's capital.

My comments : Easy, easy. You have to capture the capital not the Grave Golem. Get a thief or a summoned creature in front of the capital, the Grave Golem will appear. Use the usual arsenal (max armor, max luck, potions, spells, lower his initiative if you can and kill his units, get a ward against mind spell, etc.). I did it by retreating once, went to the nearest city to heal and returned back to the capital in the same turn.
