Mortis, goddess of the Undead Hordes, had tolerated tremendous suffering to bring about the resurrection of her husband. Infested with hatred and cruelty, the fleshless deity became a mockery of life itself in her pursuit to return to her beloved. Yet she succeeded. Gallean, unable to accept the twisted remnants of his once beautiful wife, abandoned Mortis. The last threads of the goddess' sanity abandoned her as well.
