Erhog's Return is a saga created by Lord Archmar for the Undead Horde. It is a saga for Disciples : Rise of the Elves. You can find it in the sagas.

A WHISPER IN THE DARK - I

Erhog's restless spirit whispered to Mortis to revive her life body. Erhog promised what she would greatly reward the Hordes for resurrecting her.

Mortis ordered her minions to search for the remains of Erhog and ingredients for a salve and strong talismans. Together, these relics had the powers to revive Erhog.

However the only one who knew were the relics were was Ysgak. One of the most loyal of Mortis' soldiers. He had been lost for decades but it was rumored that he was hiding in a stronghold...

When the relics were secured the Undead Hordes marched towards the Elven Healing Grounds bound by Mortis' will.

IMPASSABLE LOWLANDS - II

The Undead Hordes had to make it down from the highlands to the lowlands were the Elves had their sacred healing grounds. A great but cursed river named Nizorth separated the lowlands and the highlands. However a Legions' outpost was guarding the only passage down the mountains.

The Legions had to be convinced that the Undead were thrustworthy...

The Undead Hordes continued their journey to the lowlands. They had to prepare for the resurrection of Erhog.

THE RESURRECTION - III

The Hordes had made it to the Lowlands were the Elves resided. The resurrection rite had to be done in the sacred Elven valley. The only way to get to the valley was to own three cities, Verhornia, Ollimariu and Evoni'rum. The legend told that then a passage through the mountains would open.

However only the Elven Priestesses could fully revive someone. It was clear for Mortis that these Priestesses would not cooperate. Thus the only way was to kill the Priestesses and resurrect them as Dark Elves. But it was hard to resurrect Elves so the only option was to find the five Great Necromancers.

Mortis had given the Necromancers freedom after the First Great Wars, now they had to be recruited back.

The Necromancers should only know that the Hordes needed them in order to revive a mortal. The Necromancers were not trustworthy...

When Erhog had been revived Mortis gave contol of her minions to Erhog. It was Erhog's time to make a favor for the Hordes.

THE SUCCESS - IV

Mortis and her Necromancers had successfully revived Erhog the Dark. In return she would create a ultimate soldier for Mortis.

Erhog knew that the unholy ceremony was explained in the legendary Wotan's Scroll. Some of the materials that were needed to the ceremony were hidden away by the Clans and Empire long time ago. Other artifacts were stolen by undead that had broken free of Mortis' grasp.

Erhog had to find these artifacts and Wotan's Scroll.

When Erhog and the Grave Golem were slain both Mortis and Bethrezen wanted to punish Erhog. Mortis wanted to punish her because she had betrayed her. Bethrezen was furious because Erhog had wasted the life of many Greater Demons. The both gods made an agreement for the first time, Mortis tortured Erhog's body while Bethrezen tortured Erhog's pitiful soul.

Erhog would never be brought back to life again.
