In Disciples I : Sacred Lands, if we played the 21 single chapters in a particular order, we got "The Divine Empire". Even if we could not play the same race in all the quests, I recommend the Empire or maybe the Mountain Clan because they are the two last races at the end. The quests linked together well enough to make a story. We could get it in Disciples I Gold only.
CH. 01 : Undead Crusade

CH. 05 : Sublime Garden
Year 7. The Unholy Assault continues. Vithar stumbles a land known as the Gardens. The Legion and the Undead learn the Gardens whereabouts from HeavyMace. Meanwhile angered by the intrusion Lord Grendal, lord of the dragons attacks. /// Destroy Lord Grendal.
CH. 06 : Birth of an Empire
Many of the divine volunteers died while fighting the forces of the unholy. Those who survived formed their own society and army. In that time the volunteers wandered the north and built their civilization. Vithar claimed than this land was his. /// Conquer the city New Hope.
CH. 07 : Astral City
The fall of Valhalla has a profound effect. Arcadia the wizard and guardian of Astral city has gone insane. In his mad ambition, Arcadia restores Astral city and resurrects his two brothers. The resurrections have unleashed an unspeakable evil. /// Conquer city Vo Manum.
CH. 08 : Heretic Curse
Arcadia has been defeated and Astral city has been destroyed. The Heretic plague lives on! Each day, there are more creatures of the unholy. The Undead Hordes fear that a new power is trying to become the lord of the unholy. /// Loot the ruin Heretic Lair.
CH. 09 : Death!
The Alkmaar lived a very peaceful life until Mortis destroyed them. While living in Astral city the sorcerer Zenos who believes he is the last Alkmaar learns of a way to resurrect the dead. To do so Zenos must bring final death to Mortis. /// Loot Zenos Tower.
CH. 10 : Fountain of Ages
Long ago a sorcerer of the Alkmaar blessed the water of a fountain, it's water will heal the sick and the powerless. Skeleton warriors loyal to the memory of the Incubus now guard the fountain. That last stand of the Unholy threatens the region. /// Loot the ruin Tower.
CH. 11 : The Republic
New Hope city was destroyed by an undermining force. While others became corrupt, Fabrice the Paladin remained loyal to the Divine Empire. The Mourning Star believed Fabrice would govern the Highlands justly. Fabrice formed the Republic. /// Loot the ruin Skeleton Tower.
CH. 12 : Kingdom
The Republic is dead and from its ashes emerges a Kingdom. Fabrice declares himself King and his bride Valerie as his Queen. The waters of the destroyed Fountain of Ages began to flood the Kingdom. The Dwarves scream of conspiracy for the Oceanites return. /// Capture the city Mourning Star Palace.
CH. 13 : The 5th World
The original four Wotan, High Father, Bethrezen and Mortis have each created a society in their image. Recently the Mountain Clans returned in time to see the waters claimed the kingdom. An earthquake creates a crevice and reveals the 5th world. /// Capture the city Sorenburg.
CH. 14 : Hunger and Sacrifice
The peaceful people have had their way of life destroyed by the acts or war. Starvation begins to affect the senses of the people and cannibalism sets in. The hunger grows in their hearts and stomaches, the people hunger for the intruders. /// Capture the party White Dragon.
CH. 15 : Demon Lord
The Heretic Guard has been defeated, however one of the gateways remains active. The gateway slowly releases hatred throughout the 5th world. The natives have split in two armies ready to kill anything in sight to protect the staff of gold. /// Loot the ruin Demon Lord.
CH. 16 : Queen of Ages
As the Demon dies the laughter increases and a cloud of smoke appears. As the smoke clears an enchanting lady and her coven appear. The lady introduces herself as Sinclair the Enchantress, and to those who oppose her she is lady death. /// Capture the city Enchanted.
CH. 17 : Crossing Waters
Many years have passed since the four powers first entered the 5th world. In that time the waters that destroyed the kingdom have lessened. Currently there are several groups of people trying to claim the remains of the Kingdom. /// Capture the city Delos.
CH. 18 : The Unspoken
A minor deity known as the The Swirl created mass chaos for its amusement. With the Swirl gone life goes on forever changed. The Empire intends to collect an old debt from the Mountain Clans. A war breaks out between the two of them. /// 60% of the land.
CH. 19 : Swirl
During a conflict with the Devil's Guard, a gateway was opened and it released a minor deity known as the Swirl. The deity used its awesome power to manipulate time and reality. Only by conquering the land and destroying Swirl's influence can order exist. /// 55% of the land.
CH. 20 : Treason and Affairs
When a Paladin falls in love with an Oracle Elf their lives are changed by a vicious rumor. In the dark corners of society people have been spreading rumors that the two lovers are selling secrets to the Undead Hordes. /// Capture the city New Retreat.
CH. 21 : Divine Mourning
The bodies of Sarah and William are being transported to their homeland Witherland for burial. Witherland, formally under the siege of Mortis has been liberated by the Angels of Mercy. Hightfather and Wotan's armies battle each other for Witherland. /// 55% of the terrain.
