Balance of Twilight is a saga created by Yogendra Pai for the Empire. It is a saga for Disciples : Rise of the Elves. You can find it in the scenarios or in the sagas. This story is "copyright yogi productions 2004".

I played Balance of Twilight with my level 10 archmage from the D2 Empire saga, Mage Lord, on normal difficulty. My leader Goar finished at level 27.

THE BURNING LANDS - I

Objective : Find a way to escape the demons infested lands. Asmodius must not die.

My comments : Not hard but you have to move fast. I had to restart. Make sure the enemies don't see you (read don't activate them) following the water and the mountains to get to the portal.

FORTRESS DOOM - II

Objective : Scout the area to search for allies and foes.

My comments : Since I managed to save and import my main leader, now level 11, I found this one easy but fun, just love the maze. May be difficult if you start with a low level leader but you have enough enemies to upgrade.

CRASH AND BURN - III

Objective : Obtain the next step of action from Demonuscus and find the Scroll of Power.

My comments : Harder at the beginning when your are under attack all the time. The story and the events prove that the author has a lot imagination. Too easy once you control the lands and the attacks stop. Just make sure you walk beside the pool (west pool) until the end to get the last event correctly and visit all the ruins.

TWILIGHT OF THE GODS - IV

Objective : Survive until the completion of the ritual.

My comments : Just survive until Day 50 and survive Day 50. One of the nicest scenario around, you can replay it and it will be different. Bravo!

Since I did not played D2 for almost a year, I found this saga interesting and I actually had fun. A nice and challenging saga that brought me back to the game.
