THE SEARCH FOR TIMMORIA - I

This is the chapter that is included in the demo of DDP.

Objective : Loot the Empire library.

My comments : At some point, the Empire seems a little strong but if you kill them slowly one by one you will get through it. There is a neutral thugs stack that will tell that they will help you against the Empire if you help them. They are near your capital. If you click on them twice, the second time you enter into battle, just talk to them once. If they are kill by the Empire, it has no impact, you will manage anyway. They are there for the story, some thugs will help you near the library and in the other quests, to stay in line with the quest it is better if you don't kill them.

UTHER'S BLOOD - II

Objective : Destroy Uther to gather some of his blood.

My comments : What a stupid quest. The first time, I was to far from Uther to reach him in time and he got North. Next time, I am too strong and he hides in the capital. Here is a trick : I knew Uther will start from the Legion' capital, so I manage to be not too far and to be able to reach the capital the next turn. If you kill a Legion's leaders in a any Legion's troops around the capital, this leader will go to resurrect in the capital. Uther will get out and stay out until next turn. Blast or lower his troops with long range spells and get Uther. Uther is stupid and death.... or is it the AI!!! See a spoiler.

THE COUNCIL - III

Objective : Destroy Slookariij, the Mountain Clan's counselor.

My comments : Easy one! The Empire even offered me and alliance at some point. Alliance in this quest does not refer to actually a real alliance in the game, it is an alliance in the story. The thugs (see chapter one) will warn you that Slookariij is coming... killing the counselor, will end the quest and break their alliance.

RETALIATION - IV

Objective : Capture the city Hunneria.

My comments : I did not get involve into the story of this one. The thugs are breaking their alliance. I should have them killed in the first chapter just for revenge! The beginning is hard, you need to clean the waters from the Clans and the higher troops of the Empire to get to Hunneria. My Lich Queen was not strong enough and my second leaders always died. Anyway I got two levels for my leader in this chapter but it took me forever. Be prepare for stronger battles.

THE ACCURSED ARMOR - V

Objective : Destroy the Bone Lord's tower.

My comments : Easy, easy, easy. Looks familiar, probably the map from another quest. Killing the Sea Queen will get you the Ocean Charm and two sea serpents will kill for you anything that is moving on waters including your own second leaders. Thanks for the help!

PHANTOM BEASTS - VI

Objective : Bring Uther's blood to the Elven lands.

My comments : Not too hard but I like this one. The Bone Lord is on your side and can protect all your territory. Kill everything on your way to the Elven Lands. Only problem I had was that I did not had enough money to upgrade the last level of my skeletons. I had to wait a few turns and sell everything I had. I took the Legion's capital because they were blasting me with fire spells and I hate that. To open the mountains on the Elven Lands, you just need to step near past the dragons (black one if I recall). I captured the Clan's capital to get my revenge for chapter IV. Lich Queen got to level 12 in this easy one. If you kill everything you will get higher artifacts that you may be happy to have in SoD.

TALADRIELLE THE SORCERESS - VII

Objective : Destroy Taladrielle the sorceress and protect Uther's blood.

My comments : Easy, I just kept all the gold to upgrade the skeleton warriors and I went directly to the Elven lands. Just make sure that you will be able to heal your troops when you get there.

You will learn that Mortis is in fact, Solonielle, the Elven Goddess. This story will be the background for Guardians of the Light and Servants of the Dark.
