THE LOST RUNES - IObjective : Gather 3 runes from the ruins Springfrost, Cragwell and Skymine. My comments : I am playing a Loremaster at the very hard level. This chapter is so, too easy... THE CHARMED CHILD - IIObjective : Capture 3 rebels Clan cities. My comments : Uther appears and must be protected. Send him to the capital. If Uther dies, a message will tell that his body disappeared but has no impact. The passage on the Clan's territory is harder, use long range spells before attacking. There is a strong guardian near the last city. Be careful! WAR SPIRITS - IIIObjective : Go the sacred ceremonial grounds to revive Gymner Cloudkeeper. My comments : You will be told that the Clan is trying to take your mines but the Clan is not breaking the alliance. I broke the alliance to stay in the story !!! At the ceremonial grounds, you will see Gymner and get a new objective. You will eventually have to kill the King, keep some troops with you. NEW LEADERSHIP - IVObjective : Find the lost Clan city, Greyhelm. My comments : You will have to clean the ruins north of Greyhelm. Kill a few lizards in the marshes to get some experience for your leader. THE UNHOLY SIEGE - VObjective : Transform 70 % of the land into Clan territory. My comments : I recall there are some spiders in the north but they seem to keep the enemies away... so I let them go for a while. This chapter is easy. THE CEREMONY - VIObjective : Go the sacred ceremonial grounds, and there enact the rites to honor Wotan. My comments : There is a mini-quest about freeing somebody but I forgot who. As usual, I cannot reread my own notes. Another easy one. I think I allied with the Clan ! The end is deceiving, as soon as you arrive at destination, you win without having to fight. THE DAYS BEFORE RAGNAROK - VIIObjective : Destroy the Great Wyrm Nhiddog. My comments : This scenario is easy. The first time you will encounter Nhiddog, it will be impossible to kill it. A valkyrie will send you to a Clan's shrine. There are three (3) islands before the shrine : choosing the middle one will give you the Ring of Age. Once I got the ring, I just went to Nhiddog. I found the Earth Elemental (golem) Staff and I kept the others races at distance with it. Killing Nhiddog is easy, I made it without any special artifact with a level 11 Mage leader. At a certain point, if you follow the Elves' path, you will get the Staff of the daylight and the Tiara of Purity. I encountered the same bug that InSanE plus the bug relating to the Clan's capital disappearing. If you leave a leader in the capital this is solving a part of the problem. The capital is still there if you keep on playing, this is happening when you open the window to upgrade your capital. Bizarre! Note for InSAnE : The Mountain Clan! ///// Top
