IMPORT AND EXPORT A LEADER
We can import a leader with a superior level to play a more difficult quest but we can not re-export this leader at the end of the quest. The leader has to be a new leader at the beginning of a scenario to be exported at the end of this scenario. But... you can export your imported leader at anytime "during the play"... before the end. I prefer to start with a new leader but some quests are created for stronger or specific leaders.

HOW TO IMPORT A LEADER
You must have a leader in the "Exports" folder of Disciples, the ones where you can find the scenarios, the file is nameoftheleader.ldr.

You can import the leader when you are choosing your type of lord and you can only import a leader for the race you are playing. You can verify the artifacts of the leader so you can get the better leader for your type of quest.

You can import a leader with a higher level than the maximum sets in a quest but he will be at max and won't get anymore experience. In clear, if a quest has max 20 and you have a leader level 23, you are able to import him but he will stay at level 23.

HOW TO EXPORT A LEADER IN A SAGA
At the end of a saga, you can export your high level leader with a five or six artifacts, potions or others. A window opens letting you choose the leader you want to save. You have to drag the leader and the artifacts in the export window before you can save it. Do this right or you will have to replay your last battle!!!

HOW TO EXPORT A LEADER IN A SCENARIO

You can also export a leader anytime while playing a quest using the option available between the save and load options in the savegame window.

Get different names for your exported leaders. Rename a leader once he is exported if you are often using the same name to avoid to loose the first one while saving.
